this is all the shapes of the kodak logo without the lines being incorporated

since that is hard to see for whatever reason, this is the one i did of all the Kodak logo lines..

this is one of the layers, i called flowers, it is all of the outlines of the flowers that i created form using the BMW logo..

so i have done my layers project.. i decided to take apart each layer of the Logo project and make it into a design.. i have 18 of them.. this is the image that i took apart.

layers, layers, layers... hmmmmmmm

i did the madonna with different colored squares, and then made a wall paper out of it... i cut out some of the poses and made it the pattern of the wall paper

i have done this one and i realllly like it...

i have done this to about 16 logo's and i think its really going to be interesting to see who recognizes that is missing and to see what information actually needs to be there in order for people to see the logo without the words. ((does this make sense??))... here is another one just to see if you are seeing this

so i am making a book of logo's that we can all recognize without their names. such s the pizza hut logo without it saying pizza hut...

I also really enojy the book about Audrey Hepburn... How to Be lovely, a collection of her quotes and how she lives her life...

this is the cover of her book, i enjoy the abstractism of it and want to try to recreate something like this--but better-- for the cover and back cover of my book

so book making... hmm idk really what to make a book of, unless i try to investigate the older photographs in the book... i found Anne Gorrick.. I really like her cover of the book she has for sale at Barnes and Noble..

so right now, this sewing thing is NOT working...grrrr... trying to do this project for the second time..

This is my great grandparents, not sure of the year though..

so i am going to scan in some old photos that i have of people that have passed away... photos to come... and then quilt them together, and i got a good idea of using stitching thread to connect the photos

blog, what does blog mean... it seems like 4 letters put together to make a word that is a surreal idea... dali might like this word actually....


i want to use the images of my ancestors from almost 60 years ago and incorporate the paper we previously used and then sew into that paper with the quote either from the one i created or the one from my great aunt,

This quote is true and applies to me in so many ways... the things that happen during my processes when I do not expect it are the best disasters.

Andy Warhol. I am so drawn to him and his techniques. I saw the Jackie series in the Phila Museum of Art and was flabbergasted. The use text in his images is spare but effective, also his self-made famous quotes are short and to the point with a powerful and suggestive message.

Don't pay any attention to what they write about you. Just measure it in inches.

I am thinking of doing some sewing into the print... like sewing the words onto the paper after it is printed? I guess I would have to print it earlier than before it is due then....

I really like the quote that my great aunt Fannie used to say.. fear the living, not the dead....

and i came up with this one on my own.... no one forgets the truth, they just get better at telling a lie.

also, i think i might use an old image that i have from the 1940's that i was given by my aunt for it... hmm

so i am glad that we did the clay project... it was interesting to see everyone's stuff all together and how everyone interpreted it all differently...
